Recently, various tumors markers have been developed and it is known that the serum levels of markers such as carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA 19-9) and carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125) are elevated in patients with advanced gastric cancer [3]. However, the clinical usefulness of tumor markers has not been well defined from a diagnostic and therapeutic point of view. Tumor markers are not useful in diagnosis or screening disease because of low sensitivity and specificity. Reports have shown the value of tumor markers as a prognostic factor for patients with advanced gastric cancer [4]. Volume 4 Issue 2 2016
